TIME: 10:00 am - 4:00 pm Sat-Sun OR 5:00 pm - 9:00 pm Mon-Wed-Fri This workshop is designed to introduce the medical professional to the therapeutic application of massage. It will enable professionals to identify the most common physiological and psychological indications for massage therapy; identify contraindications and endangerment sites; assess the individual patient's need and tolerance for massage; design and recommend the appropriate treatment plan utilizing massage as a modality; identify the different techniques and styles with emphasis on Swedish massage; and apply therapeutic massage methods.
